SUMMER SUM'N is a three-month community-centered program with hands-on experiences, creative exploration, and unforgettable memories for the family. Open to all ages, this dynamic lineup features educational workshops, outdoor adventures, cultural events, and artistic activities—all centered on connection, learning, and joy.

Program Highlights: Sundays 

    • June 15 – Father’s Day Cookout
      Celebrate dads, father figures, and community with good food, music, and fellowship in the garden. "Meet and Greet" Program Welcome

      • June 22 – Learn to grow your food, TODAY! 
        Get your hands in the soil and explore the foundations of growing your own food. This hands-on workshop introduces urban farming basics for all ages—no experience needed!

       

    • June 29 – Farm to Kitchen
      A delicious, community-centered fundraising event showcasing local produce and garden-to-table prep and cooking.

    • July 6 – Camping 101 Workshop Learn how to confidently prepare for a night outdoors! This workshop covers the basics of setting up camp, staying safe in nature, and what to pack—from tents and flashlights to snacks and first-aid essentials. 

    • July 13Foraging Trail Walk 
      Explore a local trail and learn how to safely identify edible and medicinal plants in the wild.

    • July 20Springs Boats & Floats 
      Cool off with a trip to Florida’s natural springs—tubing, paddle boats, and fun in the sun!

    • July 27 – Horseback Riding 
      Connect with nature and animals on a guided horseback riding adventure for all experience levels.

    • August 3 – Building Garden Beds & Community 
      Join us to build raised garden beds and gather back-to-school supplies for neighborhood families within our program and community 

    • August 10 – Skate Station 
      Roll into fun with an all-ages day of skating, games, and community bonding at the rink.

    • August 17 – Fishing Trip 
      Relax, learn to fish, and enjoy a peaceful day on the water with friends and family.

    • August 24 – Atlanta Farm Tour Take a road trip to explore urban farming innovation—and build a raised bed for an elder when we return.

    • August 31 – Closing Ceremony Celebrate our growth, share reflections, and receive zone assignments as we wrap up the summer together.
